My name is Ally Jones and I am a pro dog walker in North Edinburgh area.
I love working with dogs and have a young border collie called Alba.
I set up Hiking Hounds Dog Walking Services in 2015 and I chose that name because I enjoy walking and hiking outdoors.
However, no mountains are climbed on weekdays!
Instead, I offer dog walks in local parks and woodland areas or very frequently we walk along the shoreline.

I am always alert to the needs of all dogs in my care whilst out walking. Regular fun walks do help to ensure a healthy and happy life for your dog. My aim is to provide care for your dog as though they were my own. I find that dogs settle better if they have regular walks and can get to know myself and the other dogs well. For this reason I have a 2 walk a week minimum for new group walking dogs.

Dog Photography
- I am a college trained photographer and I really enjoy capturing the personality of dogs as they enjoy running free in an exciting place.
- I am available for Dog portraits, indoor/outdoor + with/without humans, most things are possible.
- The price for a photo session will depend on the time span booked, the preferred location and on your individual requirements.
- Please just ask for more details as at certain times I will have special offer prices for photography shoots.
- Discounts are always available for my regular dog walking customers.
